Firestone [gone]
Philadelphia, PA
Firestone
Wynnewood, PA
The neon sign at this Firestone in Philadelphia was probably from the 1940s or 1950s. It was covered with plastic when this photo was taken in 2010. The store closed in 2016 and this sign was gone. For more, see this website.

The Firestone building in Wynnewood was probably updated in the 1960s or 1970s. This photo is from 2010. The building and store are still there but, around 2017, the neon letters were replaced with a plastic sign. [map]

Firestone [gone]
Bethlehem, PA
Firestone [gone]
Emmaus, PA
Britt's Tire Services was established in 1953 and had three locations. The Bethlehem location with this neon sign was probably the first of the three. This photo is from 2009. Sometime after 2011, the business at this location became Joe's Battery & Tire.

The building at the Emmaus location appears to have been a gas station originally. The other Britt's Tire location, in Hellertown, has a modern plastic sign. These photos are from 2010. Around 2016, the store became Bokyo Automotive. The Firestone sign on the building was removed. The pole sign was covered over with new Bokyo panels.
