This Firestone store was designed by James Davidson and built in 1928. The building housed White Horse Transportation fpr many years. In 2016, the building was renovated. It now houses the Whiskey Kitchen. [map]

This Durham Firestone was built in the early 1930s. It is now occupied by Devine's Restaurant & Sports Bar. This photo is from 2007. The upper part of the building has been painted white now. [map]

Winston-Salem, NC
This Firestone store was built in 1960. The building was used by several car repair shops over the years. In the top photo from 2006, it housed Old Salem Domestic and Foreign Car Service. In 2006, the building was converted into retail space. Then in 2008, Bib's Downtown restaurant opened here. The bottom photo is from 2010. [top photo thanks Robby Delius] [map]

These North Carolina Firestone stores feature classic bow-tie signs. There are still a lot of these signs across the country. This Raleigh store features two of them.
