4-C Cleaners
Ogden, UT
2006: 2014:
According to the company's website, the 4-C Cleaners chain was established in 1964. I assume that these locations had standard Norge Village Laundry globe signs originally and that these signs were later painted with the 4-C design. The location shown above had a two-part Norge Village Laundry panel sign. They were replaced sometime after 2012. In addition to these two Ogden locations, there was another one in Brigham City and possibly others. These company uses the 4-C and Forsey Cleaners names for the dry cleaning services while the self-service part of the business is referred to as Four Seasons Laundromats. The names are a play on the owner's last name of Forsey. [map]

This is the other 4-C Cleaners Norge Village Laundry globe sign in Ogden (see above). [map]

The Norge Village Laundry globe sign at Hart's Best Dressed Dry Cleaners & Laundromat is in great shape. It has been Hart's since at least 1974. [map]

This Norge Village sign in Coalville had only had one panel left since at least 2012 when it was called the Trout-O-Mat. It's possible that the single panel may have been installed on the building and later changed into a projecting sign. This photo is from 2014. It is now known as the Coalville Laundromat. The sign was gone by 2021.

These Norge Village Laundry globe signs in Clearfield, Logan, and Brigham City are made of metal. I assume that they were replacements for damaged plastic globes and that these three locations were owned by the same person.

The Clearfield location was vacant when these photos were taken in 2014. By 2016, the Norge Village globe sign was gone.

The Logan location was operating as the Hill Crest Laundry in 2008. The building now houses the East Side Coffee Co. and this sign remains. [map]

The Norge Village Laundry globe sign in Brigham City was originally painted with polka dots and had the Norge Village Laundry name. It was repainted for the Mt. Logan Laundry around 2013. These photos are from 2014. For more, see this website. [map]

This Village Cleaners sign has been there since at least 2007. With that Norge Ball tribute panel, it had to have been a Norgetown or a Norge Village Laundry originally. The company has a few other locations in the Salt Lake City area with similar signs. [map]

This Norge Village Laundry globe sign in Waynesboro was installed at the BZ Laundry Mat. It was sold to a collector in 2021.

The Uptown Cleaners & Laundry repainted this Norge Village globe sign at some point before 2006. [map]

Imogene's Cleaning Center

Plymouth, WI
Imogene's Cleaning Center claims to have opened in 1962. If that was the case, this would have been a Norge Village sign originally. This globe is most likely a Norgetown sign from 1968 or later that has been repainted. The owner claims that this sign never revolved. [map]

9th St. Laundromat

The 9th St. Laundromat still has a Norge Village panel sign on the roof. [map]

Venus Envy adapted this Norge Village globe sign. This is the only one that I know of that was displayed in Canada. I don't know if Norge had locations in Canada or if this sign was brought here from the States for another business. The sign was removed in 2014 and put in storage. A local business expressed interest in buying and displaying it. But that didn't happen.
