Igloo Pancake House
Putney, VT
The former Igloo Pancake House, an igloo-shaped building, is located next door to Santa's Land. It was built in 1971 as private residence for the Brewer family which took over the park in 1970. It was converted into the restaurant in 1977. The Pancake House has been closed for many years. Since 2004, the building was used by the park's administrative staff as office space. These photos are from 2005. The park closed in 2011. It reopened briefly in 2012 and was to reopen again in 2014. It closed again but has been open since 2017 I assume that this building is either vacant or gone now. [map]
