The Prairie Moon Sculpture Garden in Cochrane, WI contains more than 40 pieces created by Herman Rusch. The sculptures include dinosaurs, a cactus, a watch tower, and a self portrait of the artist. Rusch, a retired farmer, began the project in 1958 with the 267 foot long wall of concrete arches. He continued building until 1974 and passed away in 1985. The sculptures are maintained now by the Kohler Foundation. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3.
