Marolf's Tire & Radiator Service features several Firestone signs. The signs on the side of the building were probably the two panels from a pole sign. [map]

Firestone Building
Kansas City, MO
This Firestone Building was built in 1915. There was a retail store on the bottom floor and offices above. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The letters on the Firestone rooftop sign were replaced with those for "Abdiana" in the mid-1990s. Abdiana, a futon company, is no longer in the building. The Firestone letter "F" is now displayed in the building's lobby. The rest of the letters are displayed in an upward pattern with one on each floor. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3. [map]
