State Theatre
South Bend, IN
The State Theatre opened as the Blackstone Theatre in 1921. In more recent years, it was converted into a nightclub. It was then later used as a church. In 2010, the building was renovated and reopened as a theatre in 2012. However, it has been closed since 2016. For more, see this website. [map]

River Park Theatre
South Bend, IN
The River Park Theatre opened in 1927 and closed in 1986. It is now used for office space. For more, see this website. [map]

Syracuse, IN
The Pickwick Theatre opened in 1937. It was rebuilt in 1947 after a fire. The stone facade was added in the 1970s. For more, see this website. [map]

Indiana Theatre
Terre Haute, IN
The Indiana Theatre was designed by John Eberson and opened in 1922. The ornate theatre was restored inside and out. The screen, which can be raised for live performances, is the second largest in the state of Indiana. Around 2024, the theatre closed for renovations. In 2024, the sign was removed. It will be replaced with an LED version. There are plans to eventually display the old sign at the Vigo County History Center. For more, see this website. [map]

Diana Theatre
Tipton, IN
The Diana Theatre opened in 1915 as the Grand Theatre and became the Diana in 1926. It was rebuilt in 1948 after a devastating fire. It is still operating as a movie theatre. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3. [map]

Fort Sackville Theatre
Vincennes, IN
The Fort Sackville Theatre was built around 1940. The original exterior had a neon marquee with gold and green panels. The panels were later painted over with white and blue paint. By 2023, the building was painted light blue with black details. By the early 2000s, the building was adapted for a bowling alley. The building now houses a restaurant and thrift store. former New Moon Theatre
Vincennes, IN
The New Moon Theatre opened in 1939. By 1950, it was known as the Moon Theatre. In 1983, it became Showplace 3 before closing in 2003. The building housed a church after that. In 2020, it began housing the Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom. For more, see this website. [map]

Pantheon Theatre
Vincennes, IN
The Pantheon Theatre was built in 1921. It closed in 1961 and the interior was gutted. In 2006, restoration of the building began. It now houses a co-working space for entrepreneurs and businesses. For more, see this website. [map]

Eagles Theatre
Wabash, IN
The Eagles Theatre opened in 1906 as a vaudeville theatre. By 1914, it was renamed the Yarnelle and began showing movies. The Eagles Theatre name was revived by 1918.
