Kenny Hill's Sculpture Garden

(hit "refresh" to get the most recent version of this page; click on photos for larger images)

Kenny Hill built this sculpture garden on his property in Chauvin, LA from 1990-2000. There are more than 100 concrete sculptures. Most of them have Biblical references. The 45 foot tall lighthouse is decorated with cowboys, soldiers, angels, God and the artist himself. There are some other self-portraits included among the other statues. Hill abandoned his project and home in 2000. In 2002, the site was opened to the public. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3.
