Dinosaur statues
Denver, CO
These two Dinosaur statues are located next to the parking garage at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The Camarasaurus is the larger statue at approximately 60 feet long and 34 feet tall. The Ceratosaurus is approximately 17 feet long. The statues were produced by Gary Staab and installed in 2008. For more, see this website. [map]

Dinosaur Ridge
Morrison, CO
Dinosaur Ridge opened in 1994. It features these dinosaur statues, a Visitor Center, a gift shop, and two interpretive trails. There are exhibits of dinosaur bones, fossils, and footprints that were discovered in the area. The two statues shown above in the top row appear to be bronze. The other less realistic Stegosaurus statues appear to be fiberglass. For more, see this website. [map]
