|This sculpture group stands in front of Texas Pipe and Supply. Many of the figures were created by Marc Rankin. The collection includes a dinosaur, a hippo, a rhino, an eagle, a roadrunner, an armadillo, a spider, a King Kong, an airplane and a rocket. Most of the sculptures were made from scrap metal. A few are mass-produced fiberglass figures. The trio of cows probably came from the Houston Cow Parade. [map]|

|Seven Seas is a huge retail and wholesale operation that sells seashells, nautical items, souvenirs, gifts, etc. In front of the store, there is a quarter mile coral reef with fish, a shark and other sealife. Two giant conch shells flank the store's entrance. Inside the store, is Bobz World with more dinosaurs and other statues. In 2011, a giant King Kong and Easter Island heads were added. By 2018, the statues had been painted but were obscured by foliage. In order to get a better view of them, you need to pay the $12 admission fee to Bobz Journey which has other statues of dinosaurs, cowboys, and more. Seven Seas is or was owned by U.S. Shell which also operates a second store with giant shells in Port Isabel, TX. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. [map]|
