Buckroe Beach Carousel
Hampton, VA
The Buckroe Beach Carousel was built by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company (#50) in 1920. It features 32 jumpers, 16 standers and two chariots. There is also the original Bruder band organ. It was originally installed at the Buckroe Beach Amusement Park in Hampton. The park closed in 1985 and the carousel went into storage and was then restored. In 1991, it was reinstalled near its original location.
