Oaks Park Carousel
Portland, OR
The Oaks Park Carousel is a Herschell-Spillman from around 1911. It has been here since 1924. The figures include 13 jumping horses, 11 standing horses, one cat, one deer, two dogs, one dragon, four frogs, two giraffes, one goat, one kangaroo, one lion, two ostriches, two pigs, two roosters, one stork, one tiger, two zebras and two mules. Thrill-Ville USA Carousel
Turner, OR
The Thrill-Ville USA Carousel may not be here much longer. The amusement park did not reopen in 2008. This metal carousel was built by the H.E. Ewert Co. of Compton, CA in 1946. It was at Humpty Dumpty Kiddieland in La Puente, CA for 28 years. The carousel has been here since 1991. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.
