Tower Theatre

Crest Theatre

The Crest Theatre was built in the late 1920s as the Hippodrome, a vaudeville theater. In 1946, the Crest was built inside the shell of the existing theatre. It reopened in 1949. The theatre closed in 1979 and reopened again in 1986. It was restored in 1995. In 2009, the marquee and sign tower were refurbished. The theatre is used for live entertainment. Century Theatres [gone]
Sacramento, CA
The Century Theatres opened in 1967 as the Century 21 with a single dome. It was designed by Vincent G. Raney. A second dome, the Century 22, was added the following year. Two smaller domes were built in 1974. With the splitting of auditoriums, there were 14 screens among them with the official name of Century Stadium 14. These photos are from 2014.
