The Airway Express Inn was located near the Spokane International Airport. The signs originally advertised for the Starlite Motel. They were built in the 1950s or 1960s. These signs were gone by 2021. For more, see this website.

The China Dragon Restaurant opened in 1987 and this sign is probably from then. The other side of the sign reads "China Dragon." [map]

The Ming Wah Restaurant sign was built in 1966 for the Gung Ho Restaurant. It was adapted in 1977 for the Ming Wah. The sign fell over in 2020. The sign was restored and reinstalled. A GoFundMe fundraiser raised half of the $30,000 cost and insurance covered the rest. For more, see this website. [map]

Pine Acres Par 3 Golf opened in 1960. This golf bag and golf club shaped sign appears to be from then. The sign originally had a readerboard in the head of the club. By 2015, a graphic display board replaced that. For more, see this website. [map]

I believe the Tungloon Garden was built in 1960. This sign appears to be from then. The building was destroyed by a fire in 2010. Eventually, a used car lot opened on the site. In 2016, the lower part of the sign was changed. In 2017, the neon was removed from the top part of the sign and a new panel for the dealership was added. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. This White Elephant store opened in 1946. This sign might have been built then or the 1950s. It was probably installed on the front of the building originally and later moved to the side. By 2021, the store had closed and this sign was gone. For more, see this website.

In 2007, the Top Notch Cafe was replaced with Amelia's Restaurant but this sign remained when this photo was taken in 2008. By 2011, there was a Mexican restaurant here and the sign was gone. It is now inside a building two doors south. [map]

Crescent Machine Works was established in 1916. This sign is probably from the 1940s or 1950s. [map]

Ron's Drive-In opened in 1958 and this sign appears to be from then. This photo is from 2016. By 2018, the neon had been replaced with backlit plastic letters. [map]

Peters Hardware was established in 1934. The company moved to its current location during World War II. This sign was built in the 1940s and was used for another business. The owner of Peters Hardware bought it and moved it to this building. In 2014, the neon was removed and the sign was repainted. This photo is from 2016. For more, see this website. [map]
