The James A. McClure Federal Building was designed by Charles Hummel and built from 1961-1968. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. For more, see this website. [map]

Jim's Appliance & Furniture was established in 1960. In 1971, the company moved to this location. This building and rooftop sign appear to be from then. The sign originally had neon. For more, see this website. [map]

Vista Uptown Bar
Boise, ID
The Vista Uptown Bar was built in 1962 as the Two Boys Inn restaurant. There were canopies on both sides of the A-frame with picnic tables below. Those have replaced with building additions. For more, see this website. [map]

The Boise Little Theater was designed by Arthur L. Troutner and built in 1957. It is used for live productions. For more, see this website. [map]

The American Legion Post 55 building was built in 1956.

This mid-century modern building in Caldwell features a soaring roof and an intact rock facade. It looks like it might have been a restaurant. This photo is from 2008. The building was vacant in 2018. In 2019, it was housing a Boost Mobile store. [map]

Dome Technology
Idaho Falls, ID
Dome Technology was established in 1975. The company has built more than 550 domes around the world since then. The first monolithic dome shown above in the top row and the dome in the bottom row were probably built in the 1970s. The second dome in the top row was just being built when these photos were taken in 2014. [map]

Avista Utilities
Lewiston, ID
The Avista Utilities building appears to be from the 1950s or 1960s. I don't know what the original tenant was but Avista has been here since at least 2008. [map]
