This SunTrust Bank was built in 1961. It was originally a United Virginia Bank branch. The building is currently vacant. [map]

This BB&T Bank was built as a Mount Vernon National Bank and Trust branch. It was probably built in the 1960s. This photo is from 2010. By 2013, the building had been demolished.

Petersburg Mutual Savings Bank
Petersburg, VA
The round Petersburg Mutual Savings Bank opened in 1967. The building now houses 804 Smokes, a tobacco store. [map]

former Bank of Virginia [gone]
Portsmouth, VA
This Bank of Virginia branch was built around 1956. The 88-foot-tall glass tower featured a floating, spiral staircase. These photos are from 2005. The building last housed TEXCOM. It was demolished by 2017.
