The Manor Motel looks like it was built in the 1950s or 1960s. It is now known as the Milbank Motel. The Millstone Family Restaurant next door also has a sloping roof like this and was probably built at the same time. [map]

This microwave tower is on the roof of the CenturyLink building. The building originally housed the Northwestern Bell Building and later AT&T. This concrete tower might be mid-century but I'm really not sure. There's a similar tower in Yankton, SD. [map] |
