Penn-View Motel [gone]
West Reading, PA
The Penn-View Motel appeared to be mid-1960s to me. This was their office. The rooms were a little more traditional looking. The buildings were demolished in 2006. There is one surviving building like this in Green Brook Township, NJ. These buildings were originally part of the Ivory Tower Motor Inn chain. There were a handful of other locations built. For more, see this website.

Budget Inn
Kingston, PA
This Budget Inn appears to be from the 1960s. [map]

Travelers Rest Motel
Everett, PA
The Travelers Rest Motel, located on the Lincoln Highway, opened in 1947. It features an A-frame style motel office and a cross-gabled restaurant that looks a lot like an old Howard Johnson Motor Lodge office gatehouse. These buildings are probably from the 1950s or 1960s. The restaurant building was housing Second Blessings, a Christian giftshop in 2018. It is vacant now. [map]
