Frames & Lens
South Gate, CA
This Frames & Lens store has a tiki-looking roof. My theory is that this was the office space for the adjacent Capri Apartments which were built in 1959 and may have originally been a motel. Can anyone confirm or correct this? [map]

Romantic Adventures
South Lake Tahoe, CA
The Romantic Adventures adult store building appears to be from the 1960s. Does anyone know what was here originally? The building was vacant when these photos were taken in 2014. By 2016, the building was housing Crimson Moon Intuitive Arts. [map]

Frontier Inn Motel & Restaurant
Susanville, CA
The Frontier Inn Motel & Restaurant was probably built in the 1950s or 1960s. It is now known as the Budget Host Frontier Inn. The photo on the left is the former restaurant building. For more, see this website. [map]
