Jurassic Golf
Myrtle Beach, SC
Jurassic Golf is a new place with two 18-hole courses. There are some nice dinosaurs (a couple are animatronic) placed around the rocks and water. Spooky, prehistoric sound effects play from speakers throughout. Nothing that special about the holes themselves but the greens are immaculately maintained. I understand there was a Noah's Ark Golf here before this place. [map]

Dinosaur Adventure Golf
North Myrtle Beach, SC
Dinosaur Adventure Golf opened in 2007 and has two courses stocked with great new and old figures. The older figures were created by James Sidwell who created other dinosaurs for Dinosaur Land in White Post, VA and other mini golf courses such as Rainbow Falls Golf in Myrtle Beach, SC. Dinosaur Adventure Golf and the other Lost Treasure Golf locations are co-owned by Sidwell's son. The older figures for this course came from his backyard and were not previously used before. At least one of the newer dinosaurs (the large brown one) came from Mark Cline. The holes themselves are clever and challenging. For more, see this website. [map]
