former station
Cheraw, SC
This former station appears to be a former Esso station. It now houses the Owens Chiropractic Clinic. [photo thanks Robby Delius] [map]

former Gulf station
Rock Hill, SC
This former Gulf station was built in 1929 as C. Harris Williams Gulf Service. By the early 1950s, used cars were sold on the lot as well. The station closed in 1992. The building was used for other businesses and then sat vacant for a few years. In 1998, the City saved the building from demolition and restored it. Around 2003, it opened as The Station Bar & Grill. That restaurant closed in 2009. The building was still vacant in 2016. By 2018, it was housing the RoCo Rotisserie & Bar. [map]
