former Pure Oil station
Saratoga Springs, NY
This former Pure Oil station was built in 1933. By the 1960s, it had become a Gulf station and was known as the Old Kiley Gas Station. It later became the Great Bay Clam Co. Faced with demolition, the building was saved in 1976 and moved to its present location. The station was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. In the 1980s, the building was used as a medical supplies store and later as legal and loan office space. The Bread Basket bakery took over the building in 1993 and restored it in 1996. [map]

former Pure Oil station
Fairport, NY
This former Pure Oil station in Lyons was built in the 1920s. It functioned in later years as Jim's Gulf until at least the early 1990s but it is now unoccupied. This Pure station even has the original shutters. It was announced in 2002 that the building had been donated to the Wayne County Historical Society in Lyons with plans to use it as a tourist info center. However, the building still appeared vacant in 2018. [map]

This former Pure Oil station in Fairport operated as a Pure Oil until 1961. The building housed the Slocum-Lauder Insurance Agency when these photos were taken in 2003. That same business was there in 2012. Since 2013, the building has housed Fairport Brewing. The building has been painted green and brown. [map]

former Pure Oil station
Hudson, NY
This former Pure Oil station was built in 1934. It is now home to TJ Auto Service. The building is in great shape despite the altered windows and doors, and non-traditional paint job. The owners, who bought the building in 1978 and did the alterations, only recently became aware of the building's historical significance. They repainted the roof the original blue after these 2004 photos. By 2018, it was red again. [map]
