former Conoco station
Ainsworth, NE
This former Conoco station was built in the 1920s. It was restored from 2016-2019 as a vacation rental. The signs and pumps were added then. For more, see this website. [map]

Alliance, NE
This former station in Ainsworth is probably from the 1920s. For more, see this website. [map]

This former station in Alliance may have been a former Phillips 66 station. However, the gable above the door is too short. [map]

former Phillips 66 station
Bassett, NE
This former Phillips 66 station was built in 1931 for the Rock County Oil Company. The station sold Phillips 66 gas originally. In 1996, the station was restored. A Phillips 66 sign and pumps were installed then. For more, see this website. [map]

former station
Beatrice, NE
This former station has been vacant for many years. [map]

former station
Bristow, NE
This former station appears to have a painted over Texaco sign but I don't know if it ever sold that brand.

Kensinger Service & Supply
Grand Island, NE
Kensinger Service & Supply has been selling gas since 1937 and is still in operation. [map]

former station
Hastings, NE
The first former station above has been abandoned for many years. It was a Hudson gas station at some point. Does anyone know when it was built, what brand of gas it originally sold, or anything else about it? For more, see this website. [map]

The second building above appears to be a former station. It has also been vacant for many years. [map]

former station
Humphrey, NE
This former station has been vacant for many years. It might have been built as a White Eagle station. [map]

former station
Red Cloud, NE
This former station was probably built in the 1920s or 1930s as a White Eagle station. The building has been vacant since at least 2008. [map]

former station
Kearney, NE
This former station was known as Grantham's Gas. It looks like it was built in the 1920s or 1930s and was probably a White Eagle station. The Grantham family also owned Grantham's Cafe next door. That building is now gone. This former station is now home to a State Farm Insurance office, a Merle Norman Cosmetics outlet, and the Platform Hair Studio. Does anyone know more about this building?
