This former Pure Oil station had been home to Two Guys Hoagies, a sandwich shop, since 1997. The building had not been used a gas station since around the early 1960s. Before Two Guys, the building housed a bagel shop and a Cajun restaurant. By 2016, the building was housing the Taco Temple. Apparently, this design only had one chimney. This former Pure Oil station in Durham was built in 1937. The building now houses the Couch Oil Company. In 2016, a modern Pure Oil station opened next door. For more, see this website. [map]

This former Pure Oil station housed a Caribou Coffee and a Fedex Kinko's since 1995. Caribou Coffee closed in 2015. In 2016, Moe's Southwest Grill took over the space. The building to the right of the canopy was a new addition and is used for seating. In the mid-1960s, this building housed the Uzzo Motor Co. car dealership. [map]
