Redwood Falls, MN
This former station was originally built for the Scenic City Cooperative Oil Company. It was constructed in 1929 by the Artstone Company of New Ulm. This building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It now houses Prairie Hemp Products. [map]

former station
St. Paul, MN
This former station in Kerkhoven is a nicely preserved brick building. It now houses Sweets Ice Cream Station. [map]

This former station in St. Paul has a Southwest style. The vigas projecting from the side of the building were used for roof supports but in this case are most likely only decorative. These photos are from 2008. In 2014, the building was housing Rainmakers Irrigation. It has been vacant since then. [map]

Phillips 66 station
Carlos, MN
former Sinclair station [gone]
Alexandria, MN
former station
Ogilvie, MN
This Phillips 66 station appears to be from the 1920s or 1930s. It most likely sold another brand originally.

The canopy on this former Sinclair station had been walled up. It would have looked like these stations originally. The building housed Local's Seasonal Market when this photo was taken in 2011. By 2018, the building had been demolished.

This former station has been dressed up as a Shell station when this photo was taken in 2008. By 2014, the pump was gone and the building was housing Ground House Coffee. By 2015, the building was housing a gift shop. It now houses Jitters Pantry and is painted brown. Does anyone know more about this building? [map]

Don's Tire Service
St. James, MN
Plato Garage
Plato, MN
Don's Tire Service doubles as a gas station and tire dealer. The gas station was probably built first. [map]

The Plato Garage was a combination garage, gas station, and Chevrolet dealer. It was built in 1939 and appears to have been vacant for many years. These photos are from 2011. By 2015, the Chevrolet sign had been removed. The building appears to be used for storage now. The Skelly sign was gone by 2023. [map]

former Texaco station
St. Paul, MN
This former "Denver style" Texaco station housed the Dale Auto Clinic when these photos were taken in 2011. By 2014, the building was housing the Andrew's Family Auto Repair & Services. The building would have looked like these originally. [map]

This former station was built in 1925. I believe it was originally a Skelly station. The building last housed Wilbur's Auto Service. It appears to be vacant now. [map]
