former Conoco station
Hays, KS

2010:

2023:
This former Conoco station was built around 1930. Although some online sources claim that it was built in 1923 as a Sinclair and even the National Register listing for the Chestnut Hill Historic District says that it was built as a Standard Oil station, this is clearly a Conoco design.

The building was vacant when these 2010 photos were taken. This canopy was missing its original supporting columns then. By 2013, the building was housing the Sake2Me sushi restaurant. In 2017, it began housing Tiger Burger. In 2023, it became Tiger Station Fish & Chips. [map]
