former Standard Oil station
Kissimmee, FL
This former Standard Oil station, aka the Key's gas station, was built in 1926. In 1998, the City bought the building with plans to demolish it for road widening. When plans changed, the demolition was unnecessary and the building was restored. Since 2005, it has housed a welcome center and Breck's Gourmet Cookies. These photos are from 2009. By 2014, Breck's had moved and the station was bearing signs reading "Kissimmee Main Street Welcome Station." [map]

former station
Daytona Beach, FL
This former station was probably a Standard station since the design seems identical to the one in Kissimmee shown above. The building appeared to be vacant when these photos were taken in 2009. In 2014, the building was being renovated for the Fillin Station Grub-n-Pub. However, as of 2016, the renovation work was at a standstill. [map]

former station
Leesburg, FL
former Standard Oil station
Plant City, FL
The former station in Leesburg was built in 1925. The service bay was probably a later addition. It was probably built as a Standard Oil station. This photo is from 2009. In 2013, the building was housing Main Street Mowers, Scooters and more. That business moved in 2014. [map]

The former Standard Oil station in Plant City was built in 1921. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. When this photo was taken in 2001, the building had most recently used as a produce stand. By 2011, the building was housing Clip & Zip Discount Grooming. For more, see this website. [map]

former station
Lakeland, FL
The former station appears to be the same design as the Leesburg and Plant City examples shown above. It was probably built by Standard Oil. The building was vacant when this photo was taken in 2009. By 2011, it was housing Panadero's Sandwich Shop. By 2014, it was housing Chicken on Wheels. In 2016, the building was vacant. [map]

former Sinclair station
Dade City, FL
former Sinclair station
St. Petersburg, FL
This former Sinclair station in Dade City was built in 1940. It now houses the Garden Cafe. [map]

This former Sinclair station in St. Petersburg was built around 1938. The building has housed the Sushi Rock Grill since 2002. The name has changed to Art of Sushi. [map]

former Texaco station
Palatka, FL
This former Texaco station may have been built in 1924 as indicated on the hand-painted sign in the round window on the side of the building. For more, see this website. [map]

former station
High Springs, FL
former station
Pensacola, FL
This former station in High Springs housed Jericho Mortgage when this photo was taken in 2009. I don't know the original brand sold here but it was a Pan-Am station at one time. Since around 2013, the building has housed the True Blue Cafe. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. [map]

This former station in Pensacola has not housed a business for many years. Does anyone know more about this one? [map]
