|Pixie Woods opened in 1954. It has 3 1/2 acres of fairy tale displays and playground equipment as well as a train ride, boat ride and carousel. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.|
|Pixieland Amusement Park|
|Pixieland Amusement Park features a couple small storybook style houses and some kiddie rides. The park opened in the late 1950s as King Norman's Wonderland. It closed in 1965 with the development of a nearby shopping center. The rides were moved to Oakland for awhile. They returned here to Concord in 1970 when Pixieplayland opened. |Children's Wonderland was built in 1962. The playground/park closed in 1999 and was rebuilt in 2007. For more, see this website.|
|Storyland opened in 1962. With the purchase of a "magic key," children can listen to parts of the stories represented around the park. There is also a train ride around the park and Playland amusement park next door. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3.|
