Capital City Diner
Washington, DC
The Capital City Diner is a Silk City from 1948. It was previously located in Avoca, NY where it was known as the Avoca Diner and the Country Goose Diner. It was moved here in 2009 and opened in 2010. These photos are from 2010. The diner closed in 2012 and was moved to into storage at the former D.C. Farmers Market where it remains up on blocks.
