former West End Market
North Adams, MA
The former West End Market building, or at least the sign, appears to be from the 1930s. The building was still in use as a grocery store at least until the 1980s. By 2004, it was occupied by an antiques shop. The building has been vacant since around that time. In 2006, it was bought by Brewhaha, a coffee bar with a downtown location. This photo is from 2011. This Brewhaha location finally opened in 2018. [map]

former White Drum Tea Room
Orange, MA
The White Drum Team Room was built in 1935. It closed around 1976. By the 1990s, the building was housing the King Sing Restaurant. These photos were taken in 2011 when the building housed the Oriental House Chinese restaurant. It closed soon after that and was still vacant as of 2019. [map]
