Coolidge Park Carousel
Chattanooga, TN
The Coolidge Park Carousel has 52 figures: all modern. Many were carved to resemble Dentzel figures and others are whimsical contemporary creations. The frame of this carousel was salvaged from a 1895 Dentzel carousel and reused for this one. The Coolidge Park Carousel was completed in 1997. The carousel's rounding boards, band organs, and other details are incredily well-done reproductions. For more, see this website.
